WE DID IT !!! We are going to the World Series for the 17th time !!! We won the LCS 4 to 3. The Mets put up a good fight but we won and Cardinal Nation rolls on to Detroit. Adam Wainright struck out the Cards arch nemesis Carlos Beltran with the bases loaded for the final out of the game. Once the Mets Pedro went down I knew that the Cards had a chance. We are down to one week. Go CARDS !!!

The Cards improbable continuing victories in the postseason is surprising the "experts." The LCS is a dogfight and the Cards are not going to go easy. They will have to earn each victory. This team is not the most talented but they are not quitters. Tony LaRussa is doing a great job of making a lot of right moves. No one thinks they will win. So they have nothing to lose. It is a great place to be... By this time next week we will be World Series Bound...

WOW! The Cards refuse to die and have won the first 2 games of the Division Series agains the Padres. Everyone had written the Cards off so the pressure is off and they are winning. It is so Cool that they are clicking at the right time. Starting pitching, the bullpen, hitting and defense are all playing well at the same time. It is a shocker to me too... I will stop now so I won't jinx the Cards. I will be back next week to update all on the status of our journey towards the promised land...
