Fri, 23 February 2007 How does the bench look this year? It looks a lot like last year. There will be a couple of diiferences but basically the same. There is one intriguing player by the name of Jolbert Cabrera. He is not young but he has some decent skills. Time will tell. The bench looks good and it has some pop. Tony will use his bench well and everyone will play. Duncan will get quite a bit of playing time and will provide some needed pop. He will mature into a decent player. The Cards bench will be a strength...Comments[0] |
Fri, 16 February 2007 The infield for the Cards is one of the strong points for the World champs this year. With the addition of Adam Kennedy at 2B it solidifies a position that for the Cards has been shaky. It also teams up Eckstein and Kennedy again as a keystone combo. The outside infielders are obviously solid - Rolen and Pujols ROCK!!! The infield will not be the problem this year...Comments[0] |
Sat, 10 February 2007 The BIG question is for the Cards is who will be the #'s 4 and 5
pitchers? Adam Wainright, Ryan Franklin, Brad Thompson or Braden Looper
are possibilities. Or will they sign a veteran in spring training?
Maybe a trade is in the works. Obviously this is the major concern that
will be closely watched as the season gets underway. Lots of questions
to consider in this area to say the least...Comments[0] |
